Physics geometries.

A robot's collision model is comprised of physics geometries, which are the shapes used by the physics simulator to calculate shock, force, and torque. These geometries are dynamic as long as the are part of a rigid body. Otherwise they are static.

To make them look real, physics geometries can be dressed by rendered geometries.
