Distance sensors are attached to Zone geometries (cone style). The device is using several rays for finding impacts points and to determine the distance between the sensor and the obstacles. 

This data are transformed and analyzed in order to determine distance, which is based on several parameters:

• sensor type,
• materials properties,
• surfaces incidence,
• etc.
